Bruce
Colucci, CKD
The inspiration behind Le Gourmet Kitchen and its design
philosophy comes from Bruce Colucci’s creative nature and
his pure love of cooking. An enthusiastic cook for more
than 20 years, Bruce knows firsthand what constitutes good
design in the kitchen. As he often says, “A kitchen is like
a painting. I’m the artist; the kitchen to be designed a
blank canvas. With the ideal blend of client collaboration,
creative inspiration and balance of elements a functional
art piece can be created.”
Form and function must work together like the spices in a
fine pasta sauce. Smooth and pleasing with the right hint
of boldness. That’s Bruce. Always on the run. Always
creating. Always serving his clients with passion.
Drawing from the experience and knowledge he has gained from
his studies and travel across the globe, Bruce’s insights
and direction are invaluable to the Le Gourmet Kitchen, Ltd. team and clients. A
Certified Kitchen Designer, Bruce studied architecture in
New York, worked on design projects in Europe, spent several
years at the renowned Pacific Design Center, and as the
manager of the Poggenpohl Beverly Hills showroom. He also
served the National Kitchen and Bath Association as a Vice
President of Programs for the Southern California Chapter.
When his creative talents are at rest, Bruce enjoys quality
time with his wife, children and friends. He likes to plan
his next social event, sip good-tasting wine or read a
book. He also studies martial arts because its demand for
mental focus and physical condition. In short, you can sum
up Bruce’s philosophy as La Dolce Vita!
